Project Reveal: Double Eagle Living Space

Happy Monday! Today we are excited to share with you the details of another space in our Double Eagle Project. This airy home blends clean modern lines with warm rustic textures. The beautiful red-rock view of St. George, Utah is a focal point out the oversize windows, so inside we kept things fairly neutral with pops of subtle color, lux textiles, and lots of texture. A foundation of bright white paint, our favorite Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace, and hardwood floors, Provenza Moda Living in the Finally Mine colorway, creates a fresh neutral foundation. We added a pretty pop of blue on the lower built-ins, Benjamin Moore Santorini Blue.

The space is grounded with a light vintage-style rug. In an large open room you want to use an oversize rug, too small and you visually make the room look smaller. See more tips for picking the right rug size in this post.

We chose rich warm furniture for the space. Modern leather sofas and this woven statement chair (sold out everywhere but we found for you here!) add rich organic texture that works with the beautiful red rock view. A light wood coffee table breaks up the darker tones of the other furniture. We love mixing wood tones for a more modern collected vibe. Warm brass hardware and lighting adds an additional layer of warmth and shine. We used these beautiful brass and glass sconces.

We styled the space with warm browns, sages and blues that add earthy color. Vintage pillows (similar here, here, and here), a wood tray, styling beads, coffee table books, and a brass bowl candle add personality. Read 7 Ways to Style a Coffee Table for more styling ideas.
