To create a look I love in my home, I partnered with Crate and Barrel and used their cool coastal escape collection. The textured linens, light woods, rattan details, and shades of indigo create a layering of organic textures that feel calm, collected, and as beautifully earthy as the coastal view. Our new entry is subtly beachy with a layering of neutrals that feels calm and serene. The space is grounded with a blue striped performance rug and then filled with light woods, warm brass, and a blend of crisp and creamy whites. The Palisades Table in natural oak has a creamy cerused finish that brings the most incredible texture to the space. The oversize Solomon Wood Floor Mirror mimics the whitewash effect, while the Liona Sconce and Colombe Chandelier in brass brings in a richer warmth and shine.
The entry leads to a living room that is now so soft and inviting. The warm space starts with the Innsbruck Wool Sand Brown Rug and filled with a pair of facing extra plush sofas. I love the Gather Sofa. It’s so versatile and shows that casual and comfortable can still be stylish and interesting.
Light woods and natural textures feel so airy in the space. The Fields Cane Chair has the best inviting shape. Rattan looks perfect on the coast, but makes any room feel like you’re living at the beach. The chair’s woven look matches the pair of Nossa Natural Pendants above.
Playing with texture is key to keeping a neutral space interesting. The Terranea Onyx Marble Table with a Rattan Shelf is so pretty with it’s play of organic materials. It creates such a lux look that elevates the coastal space.
Topping off the blend of coastal inspired materials, are a mix of textiles and art prints in shades of indigo. The blue shades add pretty depth to the otherwise white and wood space and create a seamless flow with the ocean outside.
