Take the guess work out of design with quick picks from our design team. This week we are sharing a neutral bedroom update that pairs an earthy mix of wood tones and colors with glam highlights in velvet, gold, and glass. It’s a pairing that feel rich, but comfortable.
We grounded the space with the new Indy Rug. It is a great neutral with a mix of warm and cool tones and a timeless medallion motif. We then paired this with the stately Caramel Velvet Bed flanked with a pair of Palma Nightstands. Mixing wood tones, we opted for the darker wood Thatcher Dresser. This mix of tones, furniture styles, and materials creates a collected look that feels much more interesting than a matched set. The Halweila Sled Bench and the Janesville Chair round out the furniture and provide plenty of soft surfaces and utility for everyday.
We accessorized the space with contrasting lighting. Earthy ceramic Cape Table Lamps create a cool organic vibe paired with the glam Rodeo Chandelier. It has panels of champagne piastre glass that creates the prettiest glow. It’s a real statement piece. Art and pillows enrich the design and make the space feel complete.
