When we began designing The Oasis Project, our vision was to create a home that effortlessly blends function, luxury, and fun—a true retreat for both relaxation and entertaining. This project has become one of our favorites, not just because of its beautiful finishes and clean design, but because every space is crafted to spark connection and play. Today we want to take a closer look at the heart of this home—the entertaining spaces.
The Court Lounge: Game Day Meets Everyday Luxury
One of the showstoppers in this home is the indoor basketball court—but this isn’t your typical home gym. The court features a glossy black floor with custom lettering that reads “The Oasis” and is surrounded by warm wood floors and clean architectural lines. We elevated the entire experience by creating a Court Lounge above the gym—a glass-enclosed space with a modern kitchen, dining nook, and a foosball table for post-game hangs. Whether you’re watching the action from above or enjoying a casual dinner with friends, it feels both upscale and incredibly livable.
The Fitness Level: Form and Function
Tucked behind the glass wall on the main level is a sleek home gym. With a full row of cardio equipment, an attached spa with infra-red sauna, and minimalist finishes, the gym is both high-performing and beautiful. We kept the palette neutral and added natural wood cabinetry to keep things feeling calm and clutter-free. It’s the perfect place to start the day before heading upstairs to unwind.
Sea & Salt Snack Shack: Playful Details for All Ages
One of the most charming features of The Oasis is the Sea & Salt Snack Shack, nestled just off the court. Designed with a whimsical, beachy aesthetic, it’s a miniature storefront where kids (and adults) can grab a quick treat between games. We leaned into soft pastels, scalloped tiles, and playful details to give it that charming coastal flair. It’s unexpected, fun, and makes this home truly family-friendly.
Oasis Theater: Movie Nights Reimagined
No entertainment space is complete without a home theater, and this one is a dream. The entry welcomes you with a built-in snack station, where glass jars display all your favorite movie treats in style. Just beyond, the theater room features plush seating and custom wall art with classic movie posters, creating an immersive, boutique-cinema feel. It’s the perfect space to gather for family movie night or host a screening with friends.
Design That Feels Like a Vacation
From the sleek gym to the glass-wrapped lounge, every entertaining space in The Oasis Project was designed to bring people together in a space that feels equal parts sophisticated and comfortable.
