Design decisions are overwhelming. This summer we have started a new series to help you out, sharing the exact brands and color picks we are using in our own spaces. If you have missed the series, check out the Cabinet Paint Colors we are Using and The Bathroom Faucet + Hardware Combinations we are Using. Today, we are sharing the white tiles we have used in recent projects. Bonus, we have a source for every price point! White tile is classic and creates a fresh airiness that feels spa-like in bathrooms and clean in kitchens. Take a look!

Moroccan Zellige Tile in Family Ties Custom Build Kitchen

For the kitchen and pantry backsplash of our Family Ties Custom Build, we featured Cle Tile’s 2″x6″ Zellige in Sea Salt. We wanted the space to feel crisp and airy, but the Zellige ensures that it also feels warm and layered with texture. It’s a hint of Old World that adds depth to our new build. $19.50/sq ft

Hand-fired Subway Tile in Family Ties Custom Build Bathroom

Handmade, hand-fired tiles add incredible dimension to a space that doesn’t translate as well in picture but is very evident in person. It’s a look that feels custom and designer. In this bathroom we used Fireclay Tile 2″x6″ wall tile in French Linen. It’s a glossy tile with a semi-reflective sheen. The color looks beautiful with the custom white oak cabinets, brass Brizo fixtures, and brass lighting and hardware. $15/sq ft

Linear Hex Tile in Double Eagle Project Kitchen

In this kitchen, we wanted the clean look of subway tile but with more interest. We created a graphic pattern using Emser Tile’s Linear Hex in Polished White. With light grout, the pattern is subtle and clean-lined but the shine and shape add texture. We like to incorporate layers of texture like this in a neutral kitchen. The subtle details are what make the kitchen feel higher end. $13/sq ft

Affordable Square Tile in Double Eagle Master Bathroom

This crisp master bathroom combines a cool foundation of gray and white textures paired with warm woods, metals, and textiles. The walls are Daltile 4″x4″ Matte Arctic White, a great affordable tile option. $2.31/sq ft

Classic 3″x12″ Subway Tile in Summit Creek Project Master Bathroom

The master bathroom in our Summit Creek Project has been a follower favorite. It’s extra cool because we created the beautiful custom look using affordable tile. Daltile Rittenhause 3″x12″ Subway Tile (similar here) creates a fresh timeless look. For details on the hex floor we paired it with, read this post. $2.19 sq ft

White tile creates a crisp timeless vibe that we love in both kitchens and bathrooms. Hope this helps you narrow down your own tile decisions! Check back soon because we will be spilling more design details from our projects.

Happy Monday!
