If you are like a lot of my clients, you are saving up for home update you really want– a full remodel, a new couch, that dreamy rug. But in the meantime, one way to instantly refresh a space for practically nothing is to add a layer of fresh flowers. I shared how I love adding greenery with succulents, but along with potted plants, fresh stems add additional color and dimension to a space. I don’t feel a space is complete until it has a pretty plant or arrangement of fresh flowers. It is the final touch that brings my designs to life. See a few examples and 20 of our favorite flowers to style with in our Styling Flowers Guide below.

Silver Dollar Eucalyptus is so pretty and stays green forever. Check out the floral section of your grocery store next time you are there. Stores near me often stock it. See more of this Ledgewood Project kitchen here.
Below is a guide of twenty of my favorite flowers to style with. I’ve used them all at one time or another. I love to find what is in season in my yard or at the store. The key is to remember that it doesn’t take a lot, just a single stem or small handful of flowers can make a big impact.
