This week we are back with another quick pairing from the design team. With this series we hope to get your creative juices spinning with new ideas for curating beautiful spaces. These quick pairings are a great starting point if you aren’t ready to hire a designer.
We believe that your outdoor living spaces can feel as welcoming and comfortable as your indoor ones. To immediately elevate the space, we start by grounding the area with an outdoor rug picked for beauty and durability. Here, we used this favorite from our Becki Owens x Surya Margaret Collection. This vintage-inspired rug adds pattern and softness to your space in dark earthy neutrals.
Next, we selected a mix of comfortable seating that will welcome friends and family to gather. A pair of sofas seats a crowd, we used the Shanna Sofa. We love the clean lines, washed brown teak, and soft Sunproof upholstered cushion that are UV and water repellant. To add some interesting texture, we paired the sofas with two woven Pamela Outdoor Chairs. We love the interesting swooping shape of these chairs! Plus they are as comfortable to lounge in as they are eye catching. We completed the seating arrangement with a coffee and side table that provide space for snacks, drinks, magazines and books. A potted plant on the table would add a beautiful pop of color to the space.
Finally, to illuminate the space and draw the eye up, we picked the Walnut Pendant. This unique shade adds natural glow in an interesting shape. It’s made of woven sea grass that looks so pretty in the organic neutral space.
