It’s the first Monday of the new year and we are all busy getting back into our routines. Eating well is usually somewhere near the top of all our resolutions after the holiday treats and sweets. But it’s hard to squeeze in a healthy diet with a huge list of things to do. Today we are sharing one of our favorite go to recipes. This healthy chocolate shake is the perfect balance if carbs, protein and fat and has NO sugar. It tastes similar to a frosty and curbs the morning or afternoon sugar cravings. Chocolate Date Shake
Ingredients
1 Tbls. Hershey’s Cocoa Baking Powder
1 Tbls. Almond Butter
1 Serving Vanilla Protein Powder
1/4 – 1/2 Frozen Banana
2-3 Pitted Dates
1-2 Cups Unsweetend Almond Milk
1 Handful of Ice
Directions
Mix all the ingredients in a blender for a 60-90 seconds starting at a low speed and working up to high speed. Hint: We like to place the dates in first. Enjoy!!
