2024 Trend: Arched Hallways and Custom Doors

We’re sharing 2024 trends! Today we’re starting with the reemergence of traditional architectural detailing. For a long time, we got rid of all the extras in favor of clean modern lines and crisp simplicity. Trending design is adding it back in. Today we are showing how we are adding in architectural arched hallways and custom doors to our projects.

Design Trend: Bring Your Exterior Stone Wall Inside

Blurring the lines between your homes interior and exterior has been a major design movement in the last few years. Choosing natural textures that emphasize the beauty of nature really turns your home into a retreat. One way to create this indoor/outdoor flow is to pick a stone you love to use on your exterior, but bring the same look inside to create a stone statement wall.We shared how we featured this idea in yesterday’s View Point Custom Project Kitchen Reveal.  Today, we wanted to zoom out and show you how we carried this stone look throughout the project in order to create a beautifully cohesive flow.

Get The Look: Create The Rich Fall Entry of Our Via Teca Project

When it comes to creating seasonal spaces, we still live by one of our mottos, less is more. The entry of our Via Teca project is great example of this. This light and airy coastal home looks beautiful with both warm and dark accents that evoke the mood of the season, just time for Halloween.

Transforming the Dated Exterior of our Via Teca Project with Romabio Classico Limewash

We limewashed the exterior of our Via Teca Project and the transformation is so good!  This project is set against and incredible backdrop of ocean blues, earthy browns, and vibrant greens of the southern California coastline, and we really wanted that natural beauty to be the emphasis of the home. We thought the multi-colored stack stone was a distraction. We turned to Romabio, experts in brick and masonry paint. Using Romabio Classico Limewash, we made over the dated stone and created the airy coastal vibe we were after. Read on to see the before and afters and learn all about Romabio. They can transform your home too!
