Throughout this home, we kept a clean white foundation. In the bathroom, both the walls and the cabinetry are painted Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace, a favorite white of ours in light-filled spaces. The white paint is a perfect match for the white wall tile, Daltile Rittenhouse subway tile in Matte Arctic White. By keeping the walls simple, the beautiful patterned floor tile pops. We chose Cement Tile Shop Bouquet II.

We visually carried the texture of the floor upward with a silver gilt mirror and amazing pendant light. The mirror is the beautiful Salon Gilt Mirror but we also considered this mirror if you like a simple clean look. The Aerin Hampton Pendant Light is stunning and makes a statement (it’s also 20% off today!!).

To add contrast to the light space, we used rich bronze fixtures. The bath filler, sink faucet and shower fixtures are all from the Pfister Tisbury collection. They have traditional details but maintain a simplicity that works perfectly in the clean space. The cabinet hardware is from Pottery Barn. Black turkish towels and simple black sconces (similar and so affordable) also add depth and modern edge to the space.

Finally, wood details add organic warmth to the neutral space. A wood towel ladder is such a pretty way to hang towels. It makes the textiles into a display and keeps you from having to add holes and hardware to the walls. A matching wooden stool gives a place to sit outside the claw-foot tub, but also doubles as an easy to reach shelf for bath essentials. And best of all, these beautiful wooden planters fill an unused corner adding a lively pop of green to the space.
