For this project, we selected a gray and white palette using marble for a timeless look. We stuck to clean lines and simple styling so that each unique feature makes a statement. The New Ravenna marble mosaic flooring is gorgeous and pairing it with a custom marble floating vanity transforms it from traditional to modern.
Below the marble counter, we installed a custom white oak shelf for storage. The pretty baskets are a great Target find and are an affordable, easy way to keep bathroom necessities close by without cluttering the counter. By floating the vanity, we kept the bathroom feeling spacious and airy and also allowed more of the beautiful tile work to be seen.
The marble tile is carried throughout the bathroom. We paired the marble mosaic floor tile with a Thassos marble penny tile in the shower. The combination is beautiful and the different texture adds richness to the design. The wall tile is a simple white subway tile from Amazon. I love this tile because it has subtle texture and variations that makes it look hand-fired without the expense of custom ceramic tile. We used a Schluter edge strip on our tile installation to achieve a clean profile without extra caulking. It’s a small detail that adds modern polish to the completed space. The glass shower door is custom.
Brass fixtures and hardware add color and contrast to the design. We chose fixtures from the Kohler Purist line for both the sinks and shower. The Vibrant Moderne Brushed Gold finish is so pretty against the clean white tile.
We finished off the space with a succulent print by Christie Adelle that adds a vibrant pop of color to the otherwise neutral space, a large custom mirror, and white and gold globe sconces (NOW ON SALE!) from Rejuvenation.
