Today’s dream home caught our eye on Instagram and once we realized it was a transformed space, not a new build, we knew we wanted to share it with you. It’s inspiring. The refreshed space blends rustic details, organic textures, Old World charm, and modern lines in the prettiest way. Take a look at this dreamy Nashville home.

Such a warm and welcoming transformation. Vaulted ceilings create beautifully airy and light filled spaces, but they can feel empty and even cold. Adding a ceiling of warm wood and a statement chandelier, grounds the space to make it feel more inviting.
The beamed ceiling is created with Miniwax Special Walnut on Pine. The medium toned wood provides the perfect backdrop for the Arteriors Tilda Chandelier. It’s a long-time favorite of ours for creating a modern twist on a traditional idea.
The pine wood ceiling is paired with white oak floors stained with Miniwax Weathered Oak. The mixed wood tones create depth and more modern look in the space. To keep the wood from feeling heavy, the walls are painted white, Sherwin Williams Greek Villa. Soft neutral textiles further keep the space feeling fresh and airy.
One of our favorite features of the space is the fireplace. It creates the prettiest focal point in the space. We love the lines. The limestone hearth was retrofitted into the existing space with a custom built surround in lightly textured plaster. See the design evolution here.
