Zellige tile is a work of art. Each tile is hand crafted in Morocco in a process thats been around for thousands of years. There is inherit beauty in a handmade, high quality, history-filled product. Installing it in your home will always have artisan appeal even after the trend has moved on. For the best bet that you will continue to love the look for years, we do think sticking with the real deal (skip the cheaper mass-produced options) in a neutral color is a good idea if it is in your budget.
Zellige isn’t tied to only one trending home style, it looks good in both traditional and modern homes. It’s like an elevated subway tile in its versatility. Pick the shape, color, and installation pattern that works for you and creates the look you love. Right now we are loving the textured tile paired with woven pieces and rustic accents.
