Our girls grow up and need a room that grows with them. The inspiration for this room was the drapery. When we saw it we new we could create a bedroom that was still pink and pretty but would work for years to come. This room is also used as a guest room for the house so we used a neutral headboard and the white inlay end table to keep it simple and clean, but still feminine. The accessories finished it off. The stamped metal lamp adds just enough sparkle to the room. Then, we placed a journal and some turquoise jars for keepsakes. See the resources below for this grown up girls room. Happy Thursday!

Tables and Side Tables
Our client wanted this room to be feminine and have vintage elements. The soft colors and fabrics create an inviting feel. We chose a soft green headboard and quilt to add color to the neutrals in the room. A favorite find was the vintage chandelier that adds a little whimsy and reflects the natural light. Light woods in the side tables and bench at the bottom of the bed add a touch of warmth. The end result was a dreamy guest room. We’ve selected some items below to achieve this look. Have a great evening.

Table and Bench
For this beachy boys room we new we wanted a blue palette with subtle colors and a rustic feel. We picked a white paint and cotton linen bedding. The bed and nightstand are reclaimed wood giving that rustic beachy feel. The bedroom feels masculine and is a perfect fit for the surfer boys that live here.
The vision for this master bedroom was light and bright. We added bold pops of color in jewel tones and patterns to add interest. This is a fresh look with some new colors for fall. The West Elm chevron bedding was a perfect fit. For the dresser the client did an ikea hack, adding modern legs, brass knobs, and we chose a bold jewel tone in green to make it pop. It was such a transformation. The bed was a white, raised four poster bed to keep it separated from the wood floors. We decided on a white bed to layer it against the crisp white walls and white window treatments. To accessorize we used a painting that was a gift from my clients husband. We love the personal, sentimental touch it brings to her nightstand. We feel a master bedroom is the perfect spot to showcase items with personal history. In the end, we have a room that has character with some things old and somethings new. Consider an update with some jewel tones for fall. To view more of this home go to our portfolio.
