Sometimes the best rug isn’t the first thing you notice in a room, it’s the reason everything else works.That was really the idea behind the new designs our latest Becki Owens x Livabliss collection. Each one brings something different to the space: warmth in the kitchen, softness in an entry, a little depth in the living room, or quiet color in the dining room. But none of them overpower the room.
Today we are highlighting four ways to rugs from the new collection
1. A Warm Neutral for the Kitchen
We love using a runner in a kitchen. It immediately softens all of the hard surfaces and brings warmth to the space.
This new design from our Penny collection has a beautiful tonal pattern that gives you just enough detail without competing with cabinetry, countertops or other finishes. The warm neutral coloring looks especially pretty paired with light oak, creamy whites and unlacquered brass.
It’s one of those rugs that quietly pulls the entire room together.
2. Soft + Subtle for an Entry
An entry rug needs to make an impact without overwhelming the space, and we love how subtle this one feels.
The faded pattern of our Aureta rug adds character while still letting architectural details, like a beautiful wood door or interesting millwork, take center stage. The neutral palette also makes it incredibly versatile and easy to carry into adjoining rooms. It feels collected rather than overly styled, which is always the goal.
3. A Classic Pattern for the Living Room
For a living room, we love a rug with a little more depth and pattern. This one gives the room that layered, lived-in feeling while still keeping the overall palette soft.
The muted blue-gray tones of our Aureta rug are a neutral combination that pair beautifully with warm wood, creamy upholstery and natural textures. It’s a great example of how you can introduce color without making a room feel colorful. This is the kind of rug that can anchor an entire room and still feel relevant years from now.
4. A Little More Color for the Dining Room
We love the quiet color in this rug. The soft green gives the dining room personality while still feeling understated and easy to live with.
Paired with warm wood furniture, our Casita rug creates a really beautiful mix of color and natural texture. The simple border and subtle pattern add interest without making the room feel busy.
