There really is beauty in simplicity.  This Christmas we are enjoying the simple pleasures of the season and our holiday decor reflects that.  For this living space we started with a more sparse silvertip tree, and decorated it with only lights and handmade star ornaments.  We used different types of round white lights in layers around the tree to mix it up.  We love to take elements from the outdoors and bring them in, like the DIY wreath we shared earlier.  We showcased it on the deer mount near the tree.  The tree skirt is a blanket from Pottery Barn wrapped around the base.  It adds a cozy, warm feeling to the room. We love to display a nativity. The nativity in this room is displayed on a low shelf and is wrapped in twinkle lights, kids love sitting by it and talking about the story of Christ’s birth, and rearranging the scene.  Its a great daily reminder of the true meaning of Christmas. Twinkling lights, scented candles and beautiful music are the final touches that make this space feel cohesive, festive and magical! We hope you enjoy these pictures of this simple white Christmas, and enjoy the beauty of the season while you finish your holiday preparations.  Merry Christmas!
