Throughout our Beach Front Project we used a pretty layering of neutrals with plenty of pattern and texture to keep it interesting. In today’s media room reveal you’ll see that we continued this look, but used performance fabrics, durable textures, and affordable accents to keep it family-friendly. This room is designed on a foundation of our favorite go to white paint, Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace and Luxury Plank Vinyl from Paradigm Flooring Conquest Collection in the Chateau Colorway. For our client who planned to rent out this vacation home on VRBO, the durable flooring is perfect. The crisp walls and light flooring takes advantage of the natural light to create a fresh and airy space.
Grounding the space, is an affordable rug in a beautiful colorway and pattern. Although wool rugs are the most durable, a pretty synthetic like this is a great option for high use spaces because it can be easily replaced if ruined by food and kids, or in this case VRBO renters. We paired these sofas in mist gray to create a clean, modern feel with a cool timeless tone.
Elevating the design, is high end lighting from Hudson Valley Lighting and Pottery Barn. Lighting is a place we like to splurge if budget allows. The statement chandelier is Hudson Valley’s Patten Chandelier. The cool seagrass table lamp is from Pottery Barn.
This rustic wood pool table has great modern, rustic style and helps create a room made for hanging out.
