Project Reveal: Beach Front Bunk Room

The Bunk Room of our Beach Front Project is ready to host a crowd. We wanted the space to feel very inviting and extra functional as our clients intended this to be a rentable vacation home. We kept the space bright and airy, layered in tons of soft textiles, added an unexpectedly large lounge space for hanging out and a vanity for morning and night prep that takes the pressure off the shared bathrooms. Take a look at this pretty space.

In this airy light-filled space we kept a bright foundation with walls and bunks painted Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. We can’t get enough of this great neutral because it reads as true white in almost any light. The floors are Paradigm Flooring Conquest Collection in the Chateau Colorway. It’s hard to believe that this flooring is not wood but instead Luxury Plank Vinyl! It’s a perfect bullet-proof choice for this VRBO rental.

Multiple custom built-in bunks provides plenty of sleeping space for the kids. We layered each bed with soft white bedding from Beddys and then added color and texture with pillows and throws.

The space doubles as a lounge space that gives the kids a place to hang out. We grounded the space with this super soft rug, and picked this clean-lined sectional from Article in Stone Blue. The geometric coffee table is super affordable, a great stress-free piece for the kids/rental.

A vanity for morning and night prep that takes the pressure off the shared bathrooms. It’s a great feature, especially if you plan on all the teens bunking together. The beautiful round wood mirror and brass and dark blue sconce create interest and add color to the space.

We had a lot of fun designing this home. For more space reveals from the project browse here. Interested in vacationing here? Check out The Beach Front Home for details.
