There are some pieces that we use again and again in our projects and that clients are always asking about. One of these favorites, is the Folsom Round Mirror. Take a look at why we love it.
A great over-size mirror is such a versatile piece. It can belong in so many different places in your home to fill an empty wall. We love using them in the entry, in the bathroom, and in each bedroom. They reflect light, creating a brighter airy vibe. They make a statement, helping to set the tone and personality of a home. And they blend beauty and utility, reflecting people, light, and beautiful objects.
The Folsom Round Mirror is 35″ and made of metal and finished in a distressed black with fine silver undertones, or in natural wood finish. The spheres around the frame draw a lot of attention, and everyone always wants to know where they can get one for their own space. In fact, this was one of the first items we added to our site because we got so many sourcing questions about it.
We love the Folsom Mirror in both finishes and have used both in our projects. We added it to the entry of our Desert Oasis Project in black in order to add a bold statement to the entry. We wanted to small space to feel welcoming, but also to introduce a little black edge to all the natural wood in the space.
In Danielle K. White’s Nursery, we used the natural wood finish. In this space we were designing for a more eclectic style and love the warmth it added to the bohemian space.
