The collection creates the high-end, wood-look we love with long, wide planks in a range of beautiful tones. Today, we want to introduce your to “Honey,” a warm rich European oak look that will transform your space.
Home renovation projects are expensive, but our Hewn Flooring can help you get closer to recreating the look you love for less. In our Via Teca Project, a large home in Southern California, we updated the home with “Honey” in order to create the warm, breezy coastal look we love.
In the tone-on-tone spaces throughout the home, “Honey” adds incredible warmth and texture. It is light in tone with warm golden undertones. Honey is a bit darker than “Weathered” or “Rustic,” but slightly lighter and cooler than “Golden.”
In a crisp white space,”Honey” adds rich contrast and captures the timeless appeal of honeyed oak. Pair it with a mix of woods, black accents that add a bit of modern edge, and brass hardware that highlights the pretty warmth of the flooring.
Although Hewn has warmth and texture like the European oak that it recreates, our flooring collection is durable. Crafted largely from from stone, the floors hold up effortlessly to kids, pets, water, and general ware-and-tear. It looks great throughout the house from hard-use mud and laundry rooms to soft serene bedrooms.
