This time of year I find myself wanting to freshen up dull and dirty spaces with a little spring cleaning. A lot of the rooms in my designs, including my own home, are filled with natural light. I like to maximize these sun filled spaces with light neutral colors from floor to ceiling. It makes the spaces feel bright and open. Today, I’m going to share a little spring cleaning secret I use to keep my spaces looking clean and new without a lot of cost or effort.
In my Las Palmas project (above), the beautiful light upholstery and carpet throughout the home is what makes it feel modern and airy. But with a family dog, from time to time the carpet gets stains. Fortunately, there is an easy way to clean it that leaves the spaces spotless.
An easy three-step cleaning system from BISSELL rids carpets of tough stains and is perfect for anyone who has pets. The first step is to pretreat any tough set-in stains with the BISSELL Oxy Stain Destroyer Pet for Carpet and Upholstery. All you have to do is spray it on and let it soak in while you continue on with your spring cleaning to-do list.
