Today I am excited to share two more bedrooms from my Heber House Project collaboration with Jamie Bellessa. Our goal for this mountain home was to create spaces that embrace a fresh modern minimalism paired with layered textiles and rich woods for rustic warmth. Take a look!

Bedroom 1
This first bedroom pairs fresh neutrals with soft blues and dark metal. Although the room is carpeted, we added a soft looped wool rug to create a rich plush look and to create a light contrast to the darker carpet. A natural wood platform bed layered with pretty bedding is clean and classic while the artwork above adds a modern touch.

Bedroom 2
The second bedroom plays with traditional and modern elements. A classic iron bed frame painted white and rustic weathered wood nightstands feel like they could have been antique family pieces but we paired them with white and brass modern table lamps for a fresh look. Layered textiles throughout the room begin with a beautiful lattice flotaki rug paired with linen bedding, beautiful geometric patterned pillows, and a striped throw. A rich green chair in the corner adds an unexpected color and another soft surface to add to the room’s inviting vibe.
