Our Desert Oasis Project is a beautiful layering of neutral black and white warmed with furniture in natural woods and textiles in earthy shades of brown. The look is both classic and chic. It’s a great combination of furniture and accents if you like to keep your look fresh and airy or to regularly add in accent colors and textiles to match the season. Take a look at some of our favorite pieces in our favorite spaces, and then shop the entire look on Becki Owens Living.
These woven dining chairs have been a huge client favorite. Intricately woven rope is paired with gray teak for a look that feels natural and interesting. Because they are designed for outdoor weather, they easily stand up to the wear and tear of a busy family. The gray white wash look pairs beautifully with the reclaimed wood Avalon Extension Table.
In the crisp white and wood bunk room, this soft shag Myrtle Rug is the perfect layering piece. The bold geometric pattern adds interest white the ultra soft texture adds a lux look.
One of our favorite tips for putting together an interesting look in the bedroom is to mix the wood tones and textures of the furniture. In this space we used these natural oak nightstands and paired them with a client favorite, the mahogany Martins Dresser.
An upholstered bed adds such an inviting feel to a bedroom. In white linen-blend fabric, the look is soft and serene. Shop our Dallee Upholstered Bed here.
Throughout our Desert Oasis project we used dark metals to create a lot of contrast and a little edge. In these two timeless white bathrooms, black sconces add beauty. Shop our Nipton Wall Sconce above and the Murphy Wall Sconce below.
