Get the Look: Layered Neutral Master Bedroom

Family Ties Custom Build / Rebekah Westover Photography

The Master Bedroom of our Family Ties Custom Build is a soft and serene layering of neutrals. Today we are sharing how we built out the space so that neutral still feels interesting + spilling the exact sources so you can create a similar look in your own space. Take a look!

When creating an all neutral space, don’t be afraid to mix warm and cool tones. Crisp bright whites blended with warm creams feels rich and intentional when layered throughout the space. In this bedroom we created a foundation that blends warm and cool using bright white Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace paint paired with warm rustic floors from Monarch Plank Hardwood Flooring. We used the Domaine Collection in Montrichard.

We layered this base with beautiful statement pieces and accents that add depth. The beautiful handknotted rug in shades of carmel is pattern rich. Paired with the beautiful caned bed, the pieces create a lot of texture in the space.

Instead of matching the nightstand with the black and natural caned bed, we created a more modern look with white nightstands. The mix of color and style adds additional interest and depth to the space.

Layers of soft bedding in creams and whites feels lux, while an upholstered swivel chair creates another place for relaxing.

To add another layer of warmth that contrasts against the crisp white walls, we chose a brass statement chandelier. We love how lighting adds color and shine to any room.

The overall look creates a haven to relax in at the end of the day. To recreate the look, shop the Get the Look slider below. To see more of this home, browse here.
