One the best parts of the design process is finding unique pieces that give spaces a wow factor. I recently installed the entry of my Calle Tamara project. It’s the first impression of this beautiful home, and I knew I wanted the space to reflect the vibe of this California cool, collected home.
When I saw this bone inlay chest, I knew it was perfect for the entry of this home. The soft neutral colors and global inspired design create a beautiful focal point. From the moment you walk in the door, this statement piece adds interest, setting the tone for the rest of the home.
An entry doesn’t require much furniture and accessories so you can have a little fun picking pieces that stand well on their own. The intricate details of this chest give the space personality, and require only a few simple accessories to complete the look.
One of my favorite places to look for beautiful furniture is Kathy Kuo Home. I can find everything from lighting to furniture and accessories like the chest in this entry way. While shopping for this project, I found several great items I’m excited to use in other spaces. Below is just a sampling of some of my favorites from the store. There are so many beautiful pieces, something for everyone.
