Super simple rift sawn white oak cabinets are paired with that incredible statement marble, Violetta Marble. The stone has deep purple and burgundy veining with a creamy background. The pairing of simple with dramatic creates interest without feeling over done or busy. A ledge in the same marble is built in to the backsplash, a beautiful way to add storage space for easy to reach cooking essentials like salt and oil. Did you notice how the ledge extends beyond the hood range and across the window? It’s a simple detail that creates a unique look.
Glass cabinetry isn’t for those of us with clutter, but in this home they are stunning with an orderly stack of functional dishes and a collection of beautiful accents. It’s a look to steal for sure if its fits your personality and lifestyle. The black framed cabinets match the black pendants, iron framed counter stools, and the styled vases. This repetition of color and material throughout the otherwise white and wood space brings contrast and cohesiveness. Sticking mainly to a neutral color scheme keeps the focus on that statement stone, but a few welcome pops of color in the art and greenery adds liveliness to the space.
We fell in love with this space and hope that it’s giving you great inspiration for your own home. To see more of this home and more beautiful work, visit Amy Storm & Company on Instagram. For more dream home inspiration, browse our series.
