The Organic Modern Look, with it’s earthy colors, natural materials and layered textures, continues to trend. One of the ways we love to create this look is with interior stone walls. The rough organic material adds incredible interest to the space and really embraces the beauty of nature. We love it paired with rustic woods and crisp white walls to keep the look warm but fresh. Take a look.
In our Three Falls Project, floor to ceiling stone is the major statement in this open-concept space. We love how bringing exterior stone into interior walls blurs the line between indoor and out. We used Prominence Stone, Normandy Blend. It adds incredibly organic beauty and natural warmth to the space. We paired it with warm woods to coordinate with stone and further add warmth. We used white oak for the custom cabinetry and Monarch Lago in the Ampola colorway for the hardwood floor
In our View Point Custom Project, the interior stone matches the exterior stone and both are visible through the numerous windows and doors. We used a beautiful stone called Hermitage 19th Century by Horizon Stone. Inside, we over grouted the stone to create that soft European look that would blend the modern idea with a softer worn in look. The look has varied warm and cool tones and plenty of texture. We love how the flow of stone from outdoor to in invites you in. We paired it with limestone tiles from Daltile and white oak flooring, the Chene Collection from Urban Floors in Grigio, wood beaming and accents stained to match the wood flooring, and white walls.
