Our Oasis Project is a modern desert dream that blends laid-back luxury with warm minimalism. Set against the striking red rock backdrop of southern Utah, the home embraces its surroundings through earthy materials, warm wood accents, and light-filled interiors that blur the line between indoors and out. Neutral layers are paired with modern silhouettes and thoughtful details, from handwoven textiles to sleek, statement lighting. Today we are sharing a few pictures that help you see the vibe of the space before we reveal full details space by space. So take a look at some of the design highlights!
The project features a neutral color pallet to allow the red rock views out the windows to pop. Soft whites, sandy taupe, and warm wood tones bring a calming foundation to each space.
We focused on texture-rich materials like woven textiles, natural stone, linen, wood, and matte metals to add depth and interest.
Indoor/outdoor flow creates a life-style we love. We emphasized this concept with expansive glass doors and organic landscaping that connect the
interiors to the surrounding desert landscape.
The design team streamlined architecture with a focus on clean lines and minimal ornamentation to highlight the home’s
contemporary desert architecture.
Curated furnishings complement the home. A thoughtful mix of custom and collected pieces creates a layered, lived-in look. We ‘ve gathered up many of our favorites that we used in this project and made them available to you on Becki Owens Living. Shop the project here!
