As you know, we love a layered neutral look, but have recently been receiving follower requests for inspiration that shows how to incorporate more color into the look. We found a dream home that nails it. Earthy organic textures with the prettiest colors layered in: verdant green, powdery blue, and dusky lavender. They are colors at home in traditional design but paired with crisp white, clean lines, and modern accents the look is fresh, fun, and sophisticated. Take a look!

The modern brick homes starts with a crisp airy foundation of light oak floors and walls painted Benjamin Moore White Dove. White Dove is a classic white that pulls just slightly warm. Layers of color and texture are built from this foundation to create a beautiful design full of interest.
From the natural grass rug, to the raw wood table and caned dining chairs, organic neutrals add warmth to the design. Layered into the natural textures are earthy pops of color. Sage pillows, blush wall art, textiles in shades of brown, and powdery blue velvet chairs all keep the design feeling collected and interesting.
Vaulted beamed ceilings add airy height. The design team keeps them from feeling cavernous with the prettiest brass chandeliers that ground and fill the space.
The perfect shade of earthy green pairs beautifully with the light oak island, Cle Tile zellige backsplash and warm natural stone,Taj Mahal Quartzite, counters.
The butlers pantry is visible from the kitchen, but becomes it’s own defined space with a cabinet color and style all it’s own. The mix of wood work, paint, and hardware adds depth to the design and elevates the home beyond basic.
Moroccan Star and Cross tile in the pantry kitchen makes a statement, but blends beautifully with the Moroccan zellige in the main kitchen.
Ceramic styling accents, framed art, and rustic woods creates an artistic lived-in vibe.
The earthy Moroccan zellige in the bathroom is Cle Tile in Natural. This unglazed zellige is incredible and earthy. We love the warmth it creates. Loving the look of this tile? Be sure to read our posts Zellige Tile: Trendy or Timeless? and What you Should Know about Zellige Tile.
Black, white, and wood bathrooms continue to be a client favorite. Use this space as your inspiration for making sure your own neutral space has personality and warmth with interesting linear lighting, a vintage Turkish rug and mixed wood accents.
