You may recall when I revealed Amber Fillerup Clark of Barefoot Blonde’s living room, well today I am excited to share the details of her daughter’s nursery. The nursery is a clean, fresh space filled with vibrant colors. It is a happy room, perfect for Amber’s darling daughter Rosie.

I wanted the space to feel cozy, yet still modern and so started with a clean minimal foundation. We layered a lot of whites in this space from the walls and trim (read about my go to white paint colors here) to the furniture, layered rugs, lamp, framed art, and cloud mobile. These layers of white create a soothing, serene environment and the mix of materials and textures keep the neutral foundation interesting.
Because we kept the foundational palette white, small details in the furniture become beautiful statements, like the brass hoop pulls on the small dresser and the natural wood accents on the crib. The furnishings and accessories for the space were provided by Joss & Main. See below to get the look.
The two layered rugs are soft and create a perfect spot for a baby to play. The intricate details of the bottom rug are pretty and feminine while the thick sheepskin rug is plush and luxurious.Woven baskets tucked into corners provide lots of storage space for nursery essentials and a Moroccan leather pouf adds extra seating or a perfect spot for the little ones to climb on.
Against all the white, pops of color add a vibrancy to the serene space. The soft floral wallpaper mural is as pretty as a work of art and looks beautiful paired with the vintage sofa reupholstered in pink velvet.
An eclectic mix of pillows gives the girly space a little bohemian edge. We chose bright shades of coral and mint that are in fun contrast to the pinks and whites.
This was such a fun project to be a part of. For a similar look in your own space, browse the items below.
