Our Elevated Views Project is a beautiful home designed to capture the beautiful natural views of its red rock surroundings in St. George, Utah. Take a look how we created a sophisticated, soothing primary bathroom through a neutral layering of organic textures, interesting lines, and statement lighting. The result is a spa-like vibe that we love. Take a look!
Vanity
The built-in vanity is a custom white oak, stained to match the beams and floors used throughout the house. We paired this warm wood with a cool gray quartz counter. Grayson Beach 2cm Quartz with a 4” mitered eased edge. Although we love natural stone, we appreciate the effortless durability of man made quartz in spaces sure to get splashed with water and makeup.
Tile
For both the vanity and shower walls, we used 2.5″ x 5″ zellige tile in white gloss. We love the texture and artisan quality that zellige tile adds to any space. It reflects the light in the prettiest way and the subtle variation in color adds a lot of interest.
We used another beautiful zellige tile for the bath tub deck. 5 ” zellige in Grigio. Although free standing white tubs have been popular for years now, we love how this pretty tile adds substance to the built in tub. Its a look that makes it feel like a stand out feature of the space, while still blending with the floor.
Lighting
Above the tub, we used a modern globe mobile chandelier. It draws the eye up, creates a focal spot, and makes a statement with hand blown glass. Find the light here. We paired this chandelier with these modern metal sconces. We love the way the dark metal mixes with the brass cabinet hardware and faucets.
