Between trying many rugs for client spaces over the years, to designing our own rug collection with Surya, we’ve spent a lot of time experimenting with fibers, looks, and sizes. We want to pass along all our knowledge to you to help you find the best rug look for your home. Today we are starting with one of the most important rooms to ground with a rug and answering our most asked rug question, “How big should a living room rug be?”

Q + A : How do Hewn Floors Feel Underfoot?

Our Becki Owens x HEWN flooring collection has the beautiful look of hardwood but the effort-free maintenance of stone. Many of our clients have been convinced to use HEWN over traditional hardwood because it’s a better fit for their lifestyle with kids, pets, and guests. But before they decide, many have wanted to know how HEWN Stoneform® floors feel underfoot. Is it hard and cold like stone or tile? Or does it have the comfortable warmth of wood?

5 Bathroom Trends from our Rosemary Project

Our Rosemary Project is a Spanish Coastal inspired home. This look was really fun to carry in to each of the many bathrooms in the home. We really focused on interesting tile, artisan pendants, unique vanities, and soft patterned rugs to bring character and personality to each space. Within the aesthetic of the home, we were also able to incorporate some trending bathroom looks. Here are 5 trends we used to help us create the artisan look we wanted in this Spanish Coastal home.
