Styling Tip Tuesday: Brown Ceramics

We love styling with ceramics all year round, but come fall, rustic earthenware embraces the earthy colors and textures of the season and looks especially right. While black and white ceramics have been popular the last few years, more and more we have been layering in brown. The look is rich and is pretty enough to stand alone or add grasses and dried stems for a perfect fall pairing. Take a look at a few ways we are styling brown ceramics throughout our projects and then shop a few that caught our eye.

Project Reveal: The Boy’s Bunk Room of our Elevated Views Project

Bunk rooms are a home design trend  that we love. They are beautiful, but also so convenient when hosting a crowd. In our Elevated Views project we designed two bunk rooms connected by a Jack and Jill Bathroom. We designed each bunk space to sleep a crew of kids or an entire family, but feel sophisticated enough for adults. And although the design is meant for anyone, for clariy throughout the design process, we came to think of the spaces as the Boys Bunk Room and the Girls Bunk room.  The boys bunk is highly functional but effortlessly beautiful with layered neutrals, Lux linens,  interesting lighting, plenty of beds, and that wood statement wall that defines the space.
