Becki Owens Summit Creek Project -Builder: Split Rock Custom Homes

Kids are back to school, but it still feels like summer here in Souther California. Temperatures are hot and the days are still long, but it won’t be long before summer is just a memory.
It’s this time of year that I like to think of smart summer to fall transitions for home decor. With the beautiful woven trend that is everywhere this year, it’s easy to still buy summer pieces that blend well into fall.
In our Summit creek project we layered with textiles that give the spaces a lot of warmth and texture. One of my favorite pieces is the woven square pouf seen in this sitting area. It adds an effortless, collected feel to the space. I found it online at Walmart. They have a big selection of beautiful accessories for everyday low prices. It’s so convenient to shop at the Walmart.com marketplace because they offer free shipping on orders of $35 or more or you can shop online and pick up in your local store.
Today, I’ve shopped a round up of items for your homes that are perfect for now but will transition well into fall. Layer them with cozy fur pillows, throws and rich earthy tones for a look that will keep your home feeling fresh and warm all season long.
Have fun shopping and have a wonderful day!
