Today we sharing the images and details of my Town Center Project kitchen! Designed for the 2018 St. George Parade of Homes, we blended elements of old world Spanish with a clean modern aesthetic for a fresh layering of pattern and style.
Today we have a round-up of inspiring non-white kitchens for those of you craving a different look. Although white is timeless and a favorite or ours, color can add depth and interest. In a few of our latest projects, we’ve left white behind and tried something new. For a light and airy feel, try a pretty neutral like taupe, gray, or a light natural wood. For a more dramatic look that feels warm and inviting, consider a rich green or blue. Today’s spaces show how beautiful non-white kitchens can be, and that it is possible to create a clean fresh look in the kitchen without white cabinetry. Take a look!
I think it’s really cool to see what interior designers are doing in different countries. In our Global Style Series, I’ve shared looks to love from Santorini Greece and Australian designers, Alana Smit and Olivia Babarczy. Today, I am excited to share a beautiful home set in the idyllic English Countryside. English designers seem to have nailed the modern farmhouse look we all love. Clean lines paired with color and natural woods for warmth and Old World charm. Take a look at this beauty by Sims Hilditch and be ready to be inspired by English design.
Last week we shared a roundup of Splurge and Save Bistro Chairs. We love these chairs for adding classic French charm to a dining room or kitchen nook. Today, we want to share the bistro chair’s beautiful kitchen complement–French Bistro Shelving. Inspired by Parisian restaurants, French Bistro Shelves, are made of metal and glass. We like iron for an industrial vibe or brass for a bit of glam. We’ve been noticing bistro shelves in new designs, but many of our favorite kitchens over the last few years have used them too. It’s a classic look with enduring appeal.
This week I’ve been sharing images and a few favorite sources from our Villa Bonita Project. On Monday, I shared tile details, and today I want to give you a peek into the design of the kitchen. I love reveal days, because I get to share my work with you and also let you in on designer tips and resources. In the Villa Bonita kitchen, one of the prettiest elements is the polished chrome bridge faucet from Brizo. Brizo is one of my go-to resources for kitchens and bathrooms. Their faucets and accessories are so good with beautiful design and finishes. Take a peek below and see how pretty Brizo looks in this new space.
