Lindsay Hill Interiors

Long hot summer days have us dreaming of escaping to the mountains. While browsing mountain house inspiration, we came across this pretty mountain makeover. Once full of heavy wood that left the cabin feeling dark and dated, now beautiful glass, stone, and wood create a fresh light-filled home full of organic beauty and incredible views. Take a look!

Crisp white always feels transformative and we love how it emphasizes the natural light in this airy space. But for a mountain home, all white would feel especially stark. Stone and wood warm up the space and create indoor/outdoor flow with the surrounding mountain beauty.

In the living space, a natural wood ceiling grounds the airy room adding the cozy warmth wanted in a cabin. The light walls and sectional keep the space feeling light, while wood and leather accents add a rustic vibe.

Green cabinetry has been trending in the last few years. This earthy green is a pretty pairing with the wood and stone outside the bathroom and the black and white tile within. For more green inspiration read this post. For black and white tile trends, read here.
