Today’s Tuesday Transformations rethink three dated design trends, making them feel fresh and new. We love the inspiration we get from before and after home redesigns and love digging through images on Pinterest and Instagram to find good ones. If you have a space you wan’t us to share, use #BeckiOwensTransformationTuesday to tag your images!
An Instagram Favorite A-Frame
We’ve shared the after images of this beautiful east coast home before and it is always a follower favorite. Today we stumbled across the before image. Such a fun transformation. We love that the homeowner kept the feeling of the A-frame while updating the footprint. The makeover is especially inspiring since the almost all of the renovations were done DIY. So good.
A Modern White and Wood Kitchen
A white and wood kitchen of the 1990’s is updated to the current innovation of this enduring look. The white and wood kitchen of 2019 has an expanded footprint, marble feature wall, raw rustic wood, and modern statement lighting.
A Small-Space Bathroom
Small space bathrooms come with small houses, but you don’t have to live with a cramped cave-like vibe. This transformation keeps the small footprint but reworks the space to make it feel open and airy. Color palettes have take a turn toward warm and creamy this year, but we still love timeless look of a crisp black and white design.
