We are falling hard for the new rustic twist on interiors. We love that these spaces could be seen in a mountain home, cozy cabin, or in a residential casual and classic space. The layered natural wood tones, faux furs, and modern pieces of furniture are such a beautiful mix it makes our mouths water! Try bringing this design element into your own home whether it be modern, bohemian or cozy mountain chic.
This living room space speaks to us. The smooth creamy white walls, natural wood tones, similar color fireplace surround, natural linen drapery – all with the surprise of the black iron window mullions. It’s so stunning and chic and timeless.
We’ve been dreaming of these stairs for a few days now. Chic, classic, with a new edge. We love the colors of all materials used, and our new favorite contrast of black iron against white walls, with natural wood elements. Architect Charles Zana nailed it with this contemporary home’s entry in Switzerland. Stunning.
This photo is so cozy and one of our favorite inspiration images. We want to jump into the space in this Hollywood Hills home. We love that the brick was left alone and exposed, accented by relaxed roman shades in a natural linen fabric. This helped add a traditional, soft and classic element to the space. The modern chair and clean lines of the sectional let your eyes go to the textures and structural materials. And you know, we are always recommend adding a great pop of live greenery!
The juxstapostion of the black metal framed windows and soft wood shelves is inspiring. We love the clean lines of this space mixed with the collected and old feel of the stacked dishes.
If you have not been to Sayulita, Mexico — you must! It is the most charming surf town filled with artisans and beautiful bungalows and boutique hotels. One of our favorite spots in Mexico. This image photographed by Brittany Ambridge of Brittney Borjeson’s Sayulita home is so well designed with simplicity and white at their best. This room is exactly where we want to be for a relaxing, dreamy getaway.
