In the White Kitchen, the Whites get Creamier and the Woods get Darker
White kitchens continue to trend, but the look is softened this year by going slightly off white. Also, expect to see many beautiful kitchens with creamy white or warm taupe cabinets layered against crisp white walls.
As our eyes adjust to the warmer tones and more traditional vibes that have been growing in popularity over the last two years, we also see many embracing richer, darker woods. Layer them with light wood tones to add depth to your design.
In the Bathroom, Earth-Toned Accents Warm Cool-Toned Stones
Marble paired with white subway tile have been a recent staple in the bathroom. This year, the look becomes more inviting by pairing the clean look with earth-toned accents. Pick textiles and accent tiles in warm shades of terracotta, brown, and yellow. The play between the warm and cool tones is beautiful and makes the space more interesting.
In the Bedroom and Living Spaces, Organic Textures in Shades of Brown
If earth-toned colors are still feeling uncomfortable to you, embrace the warmth of brown through natural fibers. Layering in natural linen, rattan, woven seagrass, and raw wood helps get the look in a more subtle way and these organic textures continue to be a design favorite. Try updating your space with linen drapes and throws, woven furniture statement pieces, beautiful but affordable baskets, and dried grasses in terracotta vases.
We can’t wait to share the new warm and inviting spaces we are creating in 2022. Check back soon for our project reveals!
