Project Reveal: Desert Oasis Kitchen

Today we are excited to share more details of our Desert Oasis Project Kitchen. We shared this project a few weeks ago on Instagram and had tons of DM’s wanting to know more. This kitchen is a beautiful neutral black and white warmed with caramel accents. Read on to see how you can update your own space to get the look.

The fresh space is painted our favorite white paint, Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. We used the color on both the walls and cabinetry. This paint reads as a true bright white in almost any light without being yellow or blue. The island is painted Benjamin Moore Jet Black. We love the way it adds depth and contrast to the space.

The counters are quartz. Quartz is a man made stone that gets the look of marble, without etching, staining, or much upkeep. They are very durable. We use MSI Calacatta Classique with a flat edge.

The backsplash is a simple white subway tile. It’s a classic look that looks crisp. We used Daltile 3″x6″ in Matte Arctic White and paired it with white grout.

The pretty flooring is actually not wood. It’s a Luxury Plank Vinyl. If you love the look of wood but need a super durable option, this is a good choice. We used Paradigm Flooring Conquest Collection.

Glass and iron pendant lights from Generation Lighting feel airy, but have an interesting shape. They are a great blend of modern and traditional.

One of our favorite accents in this crisp black and white kitchen are the caramel colored barstools. We used these wood and leather stools around the island, and these leather backed stools for perimeter seating. The warmth from this rich earthy color makes the space feel inviting. It’s a great update to add depth to your cool-toned rooms and it pairs well with other trending earth tones like sage and terra cotta.

We are excited to share more of this space soon, so check back!
