Modern Mediterranean Kitchen

We loved designing this Modern Mediterranean Kitchen. The inspiration for this kitchen started with 3 dimensional arabesque Tabarka Studio tile. We knew it would make a beautiful backsplash and work well with a soft white, neutral palette. The island is white oak with a natural finish. We chose Calacutta marble for the counters to pair with the white cabinetry throughout the kitchen. The flooring is warm white stone. One of our favorite selections are the Worlds Away modern, square pendant lights.  They add impact and are beautiful when lit.  The mirrored squares in the middle give off an iridescent light. We finished with some new accessories from Pottery Barn and West Elm and some fresh flowers.  Right now Pottery Barn is having a great sale.  Many of our favorite kitchen styling accessories are on sale, including 20% off on dinnerware.  See our favorite selections below.  Happy Friday!

The winner of our Skout $200 giveaway is Crissytufuga. Congratulations!! Crissy, please email nicole@owensanddavis.com for details.  We really appreciate everyone who participated.  Don’t forget you can still receive 20% off at Skout through the weekend with code O&D20!

Is there anyway you can tell me how this island was built ? My husband is a carpenter and I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction . I love your work so much,
    Thanks for your time
