Today’s dream home is a crisp white modern farmhouse with a fresh airy vibe punctuated by dark masculine accents. The build is beautiful, with lots of custom details. The interior design is pretty with a look that is layered and rich, but with many sources being surprisingly affordable. You are going to want this look in your own home, so read on for images and details!
The beautiful farmhouse is painted white brick paired with James Hardie Arctic White Siding and Trim. We love the black herringbone detail of the porch floor. It picks up the other black accents of the home, like the black roof, Benjamin Moore Black painted door, and the black frame windows from Anderson.
The beautiful entry is simple but inviting, with lots of organic texture and beautiful wallpaper that makes a statement. The wallpaper is Thibaut and the black doors are painted Benjamin Moore Wrought Iron.
Kitchen and Dining
How beautiful is this airy white and wood kitchen?! The pairing of white cabinetry, light wood accents, and marble is on trend but feels classic. The cabinets are painted Benjamin Moore Simply White which warms the cool tone of the Carrera Honed Marble backsplash. The counters are Statuary Nuvo from Caesarstone. The floors are white oak with a custom stain of Minwax 2 Parts Weathered Grey and 1 Part Country White.
We love a black painted ceiling. We wrote all about this trend here. Here, Benjamin Moore Wrought Iron feels like a fresh neutral, but creates a sophisticated, intimate vibe.
Black barn doors open up to a home office with custom cabinetry made of quarter sawn oak. The countertops are Caesarstone Turbine Grey. Like the rest of the house, the walls and cabinetry are painted Benjamin Moore Simply White and paired with that stunning grasscloth wallpaper from Thibaut.
Hallways and Built-ins
Our favorite element in this beautiful space is that statement mantle. The dark color and clean lines feels bold and a bit masculine. It is made from Caesarstone Turbine Grey. The wallcolor is a very soft gray, Benjamin Moore Classic Gray.
The master bedroom is a retreat of serene layered whites. Vaulted ceilings show off a pretty capiz chandelier, Benjamin Moore Classic Gray walls create a slight coolness that plays against all the creamy whites, and the benches at the end of the bed are the same nautical style ones we used in this bedroom but reupholstered.
The laundry room continues the color scheme of black, white, and warm natural fibers. The floor tile is Annie Selke Ikat Tile and is paired with black subway tile. The counters are Caesarstone Turbine Grey.
Such a dreamy home with it’s clean feel and warm layered neutrals. If you love it, be sure not miss this other Timber Trails dream home that we shared in March. Also, be sure to check out our entire Dream Home Series for more inspiration.
