We’ve long loved the refreshing look of a crisp, clean-lined space, but as design trends have turned toward the more traditional, one way we have updated our look is with more traditional hardware. Swapping out simple bar pulls for those with ridges, curved silhouettes, and textured detailing can add depth and charm. If you have been liking the more traditional look of trending spaces, swapping out hardware can be an affordable place to update your look.
In the crisp white kitchen of our Beach Front Project, simple hardware with traditional detailing in polished nickel looks sleek but adds interest to the space. We used the Grafton Pull and Metal Knobs from Restoration Hardware.
In our Family Ties Custom Build kitchen, we used the same Grafton Pull in Aged Brass. The rich color and subtle details adds a handcrafted antique vibe to the space.
Against the inky blue cabinets of our Torina Project Kitchen, curved pulls in warm brass have timeless appeal. We used Schaub and Company’s Northport Pull.
The extra detail of a more traditional pull can add a timeless look to your space. Even if you prefer modern clean lines, the blend of styles can add a rich layered look. What do you think? A look to love?
