One big trend for 2019 has been a statement ceiling. The ceiling is an often neglected space with clients assuming they need to go with a flat white ceiling paint. And while there is nothing wrong with a a basic white, (its the look we go with in most of our designs), the ceiling can work as an important design element in a space. Today we are looking at Wood Statement Ceilings. It’a a look we shared last month in our Summit Creek Project Master Bathroom. It helped us create the modern organic look we were after in the space. Take a look at how wood ceilings can work with many different aesthetics and spaces to create a warm welcoming vibe.
The medium-toned oak in this black and white bathroom creates a warm modern organic vibe. A herringbone patter creates extra depth and texture. We carried out this warm tone throughout the space with brass fixtures and lighting, a wood vanity, and a warm neutral vintage rug.
