Working on the design for this playroom with Nicole Davis was a lot of fun. We knew right away we wanted to make this space light and bright with bold pops of color. Today, I’m sharing the before and after pictures of this modern, vibrant space.
Before
After
The first step was to brighten the space and create a clean, fresh palette by painting the walls and trim Benjamin Moore White White with no pigment. Next, we choose a white shag rug to create a light foundation for the room.
We chose neutral, modern pieces in varying textures to furnish the space. A clean lined caramel sofa mixed with gold, fur chairs and a metal, drum coffee table create an eclectic vibe.
We styled the space with geometric vases, brass and silver metal accents and clean white pottery. Textiles in bold prints and pops of pink brightened the room with pops of color.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing the transformation of this modern, eclectic playroom. You can view more of this home here and here. Have a wonderful day!!
