Bunk Room Hues: Paint Colors from our Recent Projects

Golden Hour Project / Rebekah Westover Photography

Built-in Bunk Rooms are a huge trend. They are a great way to optimize space and a fun place to play with color. We’ve built out bunk rooms in many of our recent projects and have experimented with light colors that feel airy and dark colors that feel bold. Today we’re sharing the exact paint colors we’ve used. Which look is your favorite?

Benjamin Moore Midnight Blue

Benjamin Moore Midnight Blue is a dark inky blue with gray undertones. In some lights it can look almost black. We love the way it pairs with the light HEWN Weathered Floors and crisp Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace White Walls in this bunk room for the boys.

Benjamin Moore Black Panther

Summit Creek Project

Benjamin Moore Black Panther has been a favorite black paint of ours. It’s a black that provides beautiful contrast to crisp whites and reads as a true black (not blue) in bright lit spaces. We love it paired here with the custom brass rails.

Benjamin Moore Silver Song

Benjamin Moore Silver Song is the prettiest soft neutral gray. It adds softness and sophistication to the light and airy space.

Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace

In both our Desert Oasis and Beach Front Project we opted to use our favorite white, Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace in the bunk rooms. This paint reads as a true bright white in almost any light without being yellow or blue. We used it on both the walls and the custom built-in bunks.

I am looking for design plans for the bunkbeds shown in the darker colors. Or a referral to a contractor that can build them for my guest room. Any help would be much appreciated

Split Rock homes in St George Utah is a great builder we work with. They can be of assistance. Thank you
