Pinterest is such a great source for finding ideas and determining trends. Today we are looking back at our most repined images in 2020 to see which were your favorites, what we liked about them, and what trends will last. Take a look!
A DIY Modern Cottage Renovation
This DIY transformation has been inspiring us all year. We showcased it as part of our Transformation Tuesday series. The layering of neutral colors and patterns against the crisp white bedding is a perfect balance that feels fresh and serene, yet warm and interesting.

Warm, earthy terra-cotta has been trending this last year. We used it paired with pretty white Moroccan Zellige Tile in the Laundry Room of our Family Ties Custom Build. Read more about this and other 2020 tile trends in this post.
A Pretty Pool Retreat

This exterior made the rounds on social media this year. It is beautiful and stately. We love modern interpretations of Classic design styles. We used this home in this post on poolside escapes. The more we stayed home this year, the more we dreamed of making our homes more like our favorite oasis getaways.
Two Tone Built-ins
Two-tone cabinetry featuring light natural wood contrasted with something inky and dark has been a major trend that we expect to continue. We love this warm modern interpretation of the trend.
A Warm White Kitchen
This kitchen caught our eye and we shared the entire home in our Dream Home Series. When our clients say they love the feeling of a white kitchen, they like that white feels crisp and clean. Jenna sue’s kitchen captures this vibe but with warm cabinetry that elevates the space with added depth.
A Girls Room Pretty Enough for Grownups

When we designed this space we wanted it to feel girly but not little kid. The layering of neutral textures adds a sophisticated vibe to the space that can grow with the girls. See more of the room and shop the look here.
A Statement-Making Window Arch
This arched window is everything. It makes such a statement in this already swoon-worthy space.

This was one of our favorite spaces we design this year so we are happy to see that it is one of yours too! Take a look at the rest of this warm layered kitchen and shop the look here.
We get a lot out of looking back at what’s been popular in 2020, but are ready to look forward to what is new for 2021! Check back next week as we start to think about our new projects and emerging trends for the new year.
Thanks for all your support this year!
