Ward Jewell, an architecture firm in Southern California, creates stunning exteriors. Each home is unique and timeless and the firm has an incredible ability to design within many different styles. I am especially in love with the balance between each home’s exterior design and the outdoor landscaping and living space. It’s fun to consider the design for the interiors but for now let’s enjoy the beauty of these 5 Southern California exteriors.
This Pennsylvania style farmhouse is stunning. I love how the playful striped pool chairs add a pop of color and contrast with the stately stone facade of this gorgeous Malibu home.
The subtle details of this Spanish home in Pacific Palisades are beautiful. The tiled stairs, the quiet green trim work, and Saltillo tile patio lend authenticity to the style without overpowering the quaint home or the natural beauty of the Santa Monica Mountains.
This stone and wood farmhouse in Brentwood Park is rustic and elegant. The reclaimed wood and idyllic gardens and orchards create a welcoming old-world feel. The house is designed with tall french doors that connect the inside to the beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces. I love how this design makes the most of California’s natural beauty.
What a perfect classic white home. This charming home is meant to disguise its size so that it fits in with the cozy cottages of Santa Monica. I love the details: the traditional dormer windows, brick path, and white picket fence. Beautiful!
I love the classic cedar-shingles on this beach home overlooking Coronado Bay in San Diego. The clean lines of the exterior and the pool are beautiful, as are the glass pained balconies that must make the most of incredible ocean views.
I’m drawn to many different styles of architecture. These homes designed by Ward Jewell are perfection with their attention to detail and inspiring landscapes. Hope that you loved them too. To see more of my favorite inspiring exteriors visit here. Have a wonderful day.
