We got caught up browsing the Instagram feed of Lauren Liess this week. Her kitchens are unique and so pretty. With rustic details, organic layers, and beautifully curated shelves, they each have a collected look that makes their recent remodels feel authentic and timeless. Take a look at these transformations.
In the finished kitchen, cool grays in the floor and wall tile are warmed with a mixed metal combo of copper and brass, leather stools, and lots of wood. Mixing metals, stones, and woods creates a layered look that feels rich and collected.
This mountain home kitchen combines layers of hickory, oak, and, pine. The mix of woods adds interest to the design and emphasizes the beauty of the wood grains. A collection of bowls on an open shelf mimics the different colors and tones in the wood. It’s a beautiful curated look.
The arched opening and double chandeliers above the island are amazing in this kitchen. The space is warm and welcoming and feels real. We can imagine soup simmering and cookies baking, a perfect space for a fall afternoon. To see before images of this kitchen, check out Lauren’s new book, dropping soon.
