2 Transformations to Inspire your 2021 Projects

Brown Interiors, Inc

For those of you planning house projects this year, we are bringing you inspiration! We reserve most Tuesdays for sharing before and after transformations that we are loving. Today, we found fun makeovers in the two most popular spaces for remodels, the kitchen and bathroom. Both these projects create a fresh look without loosing the historical vibe of the homes they are in. Take a look!

Before

This remodeled kitchen is a beautiful blend of old and new. One of the 2021 kitchen trends we shared yesterday was statement stones for counters and backsplash. The dramatic color and veining in this kitchen adds depth and keeps the space from feeling too stark.

Before

Like the kitchen above, this old bathroom is completely refreshed but without loosing the original floors. The details and craftsmanship in old homes are worth saving when it makes sense to do it, so that you don’t loose character. Opening up the ceiling and refreshing with white paint and tile, floods the space with light for an airy spa-like vibe. Plus, Jean Stoffer Design shared the exterior shots of this house and you can see the peak in the roofline where this bathroom sits. Both in and out, the house and remodel are dreamy.
